My goal is to reduce stress in your pets while giving them access to high quality integrative medical services.  I am able to examine your pet, perform routine rabies vaccinations, provide traditional Eastern acupuncture and herbal therapies, and prescribe conventional medications, either via a written prescription or through my online pharmacy partner, Vetsource.  Once I have established an initial veterinarian-client-pet relationship with you and your pet, I can also offer telemedicine services and follow-ups for your convenience when possible.  I typically advise people that acupuncture services may require several sessions to demonstrate an effect, so new clients typically should be prepared for an initial consultation, followed by treatments at one- to two-week intervals for one to two months thereafter.

For diagnostics or treatment requiring access to a medical facility, such as laboratory testing, diagnostic imaging, dentistry, or surgical services, I will refer you to one of my trusted partner practices in the area if you do not already have a primary care veterinarian.  My services are intended to be complementary to regular veterinary care, so I recommend that clients have a relationship with a brick-and-mortar veterinary clinic to provide the best scope of diagnostic and therapeutic options for their pets.

I am completing my Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist (CVA) certification through the Chi Institute.  Many pet insurance companies cover acupuncture and other alternative therapies that are administered by a licensed veterinarian, so I am proud to be among a small number of North Shore veterinary practitioners that can work with your pet insurance to reduce the cost of integrated medical care for your pet.
