For the past decade and a half, I have worked as a licensed veterinarian in the greater Boston area.  When I needed to refer a pet for acupuncture therapy or other integrative medical services, it would typically involve a long car trip to a suburb of Boston, increasing fear, anxiety, and stress in the pet in the vehicle, and requiring a series of visits to an unfamiliar environment.  Not only was this potentially distressing for my patients, but it also often required my clients without vehicles to either arrange transportation, or forego treatment for their pets altogether.  I decided that there was a better way to provide integrative medical care for my canine and feline patients - by bringing the treatment to their homes.

I founded Turowski Veterinary Services with the goal of providing compassionate, experienced integrative veterinary care in your pet's own comfortable home setting, minimizing stress caused by the carrier, the car, and the unfamiliar smells of other pets and new environments, and saving you the hassle and time of transport.

Turowski Veterinary Services is based in Salem, Massachusetts, with service in neighboring municipalities.  I provide pain management, palliative relief, and behavioral care to cats and dogs who do not require hospital-based services.  I have over fifteen years of veterinary experience in a variety of clinical settings and am excited to bring my knowledge and compassion to you.
